30 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy dark amber to brown with a bubbly white head. Dense phenolic aroma with a distinct vegetable note. Light sweetness and mild roasted malty flavoured yet also with a distinct alcohol, yeasty and phenolic note into the finish.

Bottle, 5.5%. Lager aroma, hint of sweet malt. Hazy grey/orange colour. Small stable head. OK malty flavour, low bitterness. The bitterness is slightly rough, but suits the beer well. Redminds me of a Munich style dark lager. Not much ale character in this, in my opinion.

Bottled (BB 04/2007)
Hazy nut brown color, small steady off-white head. Toffee, mould and iron in the nose. Quite hayish hoppy flavor, sharp mouthfeel, cut grass, malts dominate. Long hoppy aftertaste. Interesting brew, but not very solid or beer to drink another one.

Bottled. Golden hazy colour with small white head. Aroma is caramel, hops and not much else. Flavour is caramel malts and hops. Aftertaste is grassy, slightly roasted malts and cold coffee. A very weird mix, but still, though lots of things in it, it feels very watery.

Bottled. Hazy amber, rich airy head. Bread aroma. Fairly sweet with medium body and a pleasant dough flavour. Rather fruity with low hop rate and almost no bitterness. Unadventurous, but pretty good.

A hazy orange beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of grass and hints of oil. And so is the flavor. A very drinable ale.

(All Grunn beers still brewed at Texelse)Foxy-amber with pistacchio shine, fully hazy at the end; white head, bit fluffy, falling. Grassy, herbal-fresh, weedy nose - nice, fine aroma. Fresh herb bitter, German type hops, malty underneath. Very much like a Belgian speciale with a German touch. Herbal hops retronasal as well, wholewheat cookies. Light without being empty, just right. Quite nice, refreshing beer. Crossbreed of amber ale, Alt and German Pilsener.
