The first Pilsner was brewed in the town of Plzen in the late 19th century. Traditionally brewed with soft water, Moravian malt and Saaz hops.

Cheakamus Lake Czech Pilsner is well-balanced, complex Lager, Czech-Style. Brewed only with Saaz hops. Lagered for 4 weeks at 3 degrees.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma has pale, damp malts and a touch of dank grass. Flavour has biscuity malts and slightly dank grass; malty, bitter, and refreshing. Pretty decent.

Clear gold with a decent white head. Light dusty grains. Dry cracker and a light bitterness. Touch of spicy hops.
