Pour is a dark brown-red with a large tan head. Aroma is a real nice toasted bready malt with some notes of caramel. Flavor is toasted bread a bit watery and it finishes dry with a touch of sweetness. A fine example of the style. This brewer does not make a bad beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours an amber / copper color with a medium-sized creamy beige head. Aroma is toasted malt with caramel and brown bread. Upfront, flavor is sweet toasted malt. Hints of caramel and toasted bread. Light bodied, yet flavorful. Floral hop finish. Overall, a bit light for an Oktoberfest beer.

Fyldig sødmerik lukt med preg av karamellmalt, humle, nøtter, gras, muggost. Sødmerik smak med preg av karamellmalt, humle, litt gras, kalk. Middels bitterhet og lengde. Grei.

Bottle from De Molen. Poured a clear golden brown with a thin white head. The aroma is malt and caramel leading to a medium bitter flavour with some toffee, caramel, malty sweetness on the smooth slightly watery palate. A super beer and a fine example of the style.

Cloyingly sweet aroma. No date code punched onthe label, conterfiet? Taste is also quite sweet, more so than other fests. Yes, taste is a little old almost like its 2011 or older vintage. Really comes across like more than 5%. If you look for it, it does have a faint tint of wildness in there. Could be a tad easier on that old lager personality, wew, sweet thing in there but not in a pleasant way. Fricken hat on the rabit goose thing. What a name. Including the word the, like WTF? Yes, difficult at times on the back of the throat. CO2 is quite muted, barely detectable if any. edicinal feel on the finish. Not impressed.
