330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is full on Islay barrels, with lots of peated whiskey, light smoke, and iodine. Flavour is loaded with iodine and creosote -- full-on Islay whiskey barrels, medium roast, and light sugars. Really great Islay expression. Tasty.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, fading, dark beige head. Peaty and dark malty aroma, notes of leather, peat, TCP, some dark caramel, a touch of nougat, dark chocolate, praliné. Taste is nutty, dark and caramel malty, peaty, notes of dark caramel, dark chocolate, peat, TCP, some leather, a touch of nougat, praliné; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Creamy-oily texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, very fine, soft carbonation. Rich, balanced, round, harmonious, good BA support, excellent mouthfeel - very pleasant sipper.

A black beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has strong peat, roastiness, liquorice. Taste has liquorice, peat, richness and sweetness of maltyness, whisky. Full bodied, minor stickyness. The barreling and peat are strong, maybe too much for me. Anyway, good and powerful beer.

Really dark brown with thin head. Aroma is quite boozy but has dark malts and starts getting savoury. Tastes rich and smokey. Over smoked salmon. Cigar ash. All on the back of a strong solid malt heavy stout. Really dry finish.

Bottle. Black. Dominant peat in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor. Soft roast and caramel, but especially oak and dominant peat. Long aftertaste. Thinnish, alcoholic, heavy stuff.

Dark brown pour with a tan head. Tons of peat up front, smoke, ash, dust, burnt rubber, scotch, roasted malt. Harsh and boozy, they could have done much better for a 15y anniversary beer.
