One of the greatest things about America is the freedom we have to brew just about any beer we want. Not every country is so lucky, with punishing taxes or outdated rules on ingredients that makes beers like the one you hold in your hand impossible. Our American freedom is what has made this crazy, creative craft beer world possible and we think that is reason we should all celebrate. Cheers!

Draft. Somewhat murky dark amber beer with a dark cream head. Light caramel and light summer fruit aroma. Caramel and citrus flavor with summer fruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Caramel and citrus linger with light summer fruit.

Pint can pours with a somewhat hazy gold colored body that has thin copper hues and supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma is punctuated with boozy peach, pineapple and then more booze mixed with pine and floral hops. The taste delivers a pleasing yet boozy blend of booze, peach, apricot and then some pineapple and mango. To aid the booze in this seemingly overly sweet fruitiness a firm layer of bitter floral and bitter pine hops intercede in the experience. This all adds up into being a nice boozy hoppy sipper. I like it as it provides both depth and balance.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent/hazy gold with a transient white head. Aroma has lots of tropicals with some Kraft caramel support. Med body. Flavor has lots of fruit - juicy - but also astringent and bitter. Really hitting my tongue's rear sides. No hops seem to have been spared. Heat? Finally looked for it and found some. Gets an earthy touch in the finish. Really good ale.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Bright yellow golden, small tight creamy head. Citrusy aroma, bready malts and enough ABV to alert you to what comes next. Caramel malts, citrus peel, almost like a bottle of citrus solvent. A steady burn throughout. Thick and creamy.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is a hazy version of pliney the younger, big sweet malts and some fruit hops. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts hazy younger you don't pick up that 14% wow.
