pitch black color with no head. Excellent chocolate and molasses character in the nose. Off sweet. Really nice chocolate, cherries and nuttiness. Modestly sweet but good underlying roasted malt character. Smooth palate. Excellent dessert beer without the high abv. Really groove on this. I wouldn’t want the abv any higher. Nice stuff.

Tap at Komachi. Pretty black and shiny. Rich chocolate nose, milk coffee, vanilla. Sweet chocolate and vanilla flavor, cocoa nibbs. Tasty. A bit too sweet for my preference but well done.
