Mokko is a sweet milk stout.
Rick dark malts herded together with some of the finest delicate East Kent Goldings & milk sugar (lactose), soft water, churned together to create a roasty yet milky, malty & creamy stout.
Deep, dark & delightfully decadent, Mokko is an indulgent beer, brewed on Yorkshire pastures, wholesome & delicious.

330ml bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield - Deep back body, tan head. Nose of chocolate and liquorice, a bit of burnt wood smoke too. Sweet taste, bit milky and some chocolate. Quite enjoyable, but too sweet over the long run.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with a dark copperish glimmer and small, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, some roast. Taste is roasty and chocolately dark malty, minimally tart-ish hints of lactic acid.

Clear near-black beer with a creamy head. Toasty malt aroma. Flavour is sweet and malty though there is a slight sourness to the fruit.

0.33l bottle. This one has a medium sized very rapidly fizzing away brown little head on top of a cold brown cloudy body. On the nose I get good amount of fresh grounded coffee blended with mild sweet licorice, some roasted malts, a little bit of cardboard and a nice dark sweetness. If smells quite nice, not extreme in any way but quite nice non the less. Yeah, it's sweet. No surprise as it's a sweet Stout. A lot thinner than I expected in the mouth. Almost a little watery and the big bubbles are about average. Some cold coffee, more sweet licorice, lactose and it's leaving a slightly dry toasted but really milk sweet taste in my mouth. I have to admit that I'm no great fanning the genre, and this is just a tad too sweet for my liking. Still, it's definitely worth a try. 02.08.2014

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Black with a creamy off-white head. Has very light roasted malt notes, and its very milky character accounts for this, although feels thin in the palate for it.
