Bügelverschlußflasche: Literally black, medium-sized stable fluffy tanned head; moderate ashy-toasty nose with a balancing (sweet) fruitiness like caused by dried berries; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour; light bodied, soft; roasty finish, cacaopowder detectable, with a sweetish-fruity counterweight. Tasty bavarian Stout.....

(swing top bottle) Almost black colour with a big beige-coloured and persistent foamy head. Roasty malty aroma with notes of dark and milk-chocolate, mocha and a tinge of vanilla. Slightly sweet flavour with a bitter edge, light bodied but not watery, dry and delicately fizzy mouthfeel. Moderately roasty malt character with notes of chocolate and a whiff of mocha; dry and roasty bitter finish with a very mild malty sweetness shining through. 13.X.10

Draught Thick yellow head over near-black beer. Chocolate, lightly-burnt notes, mocha. Fully roasted/burnt notes in the taste, but with a milder, coloured malts & chocolate finish, dry. Well bodied, if not heavy. Ends on a roasted, near roast-meat note retronasal. Very good, if not exceptionaly strong stout. Thanks for the taste, Eric!
