Bottle at Craig’s. Pours black, thin white head. Slightly funky nose, sugar. Taste is sweet, light roast bitter. OK.

Bottled. Dark color, short head. Aroma of roasted malts, some strange coffee or ice tea, hint of citrus. Slight bitter taste. I dont know this Mate stuff, so I was looking for something I have no clue about. For the rest, it was ok.

Sample at the molen monthly tasting. Thin tan head. Clear deep amber pour. Smoked taste. Nice brew.

Bottle 22fl.oz.Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, coffee, dusty roasted, sweet tea - fruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty roasted, sweet tea - fruit, limestone - chalk. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120817]

Bottle @ The 5th Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg, 2012. Poursdark brown with a white head and lacings. Mild cabbage, roast, grain and nuts. Medium bodied.

Bottle, 22oz. A reddish brown beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. Lightly roasted nose with prunes and some malty sourness. Coffee-dry, medium bodied and tasting of cold coffee in the back. Dried fruits, mostly prunes, and some notes of sweetness as well. Roasted, coffee-like finish with dried fruits and some bitterness. A quite tasteful one, but a bit unharmonic. 120817

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, cocoa, caramel, herbs and hops.
