500ml bottle. Pours a brown amber colour, off-white head and aroma is malty with roasted notes. Sweet malt taste with roasted, brown sugar & biscuity notes and a light lingering bitterness. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, OK bitter.

500ml bottle BBD 30 Apr 2013 poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard on 13 Apr 2013. Light brown body with a tanned head of fairly deep foam. The nose and taste are sweet malty in nature: roasted/toasted caramelised malty molasses, slight hop finish but otherwise this is a malty brew. Average body depth, smooth enough, but a long way from a rich or creamy feel. OK, but not great.

500ml bottle. Pours dark caramel brown with a thin head. Aroma is toffee and bready malt. Taste has caramel and tea to start with a watery, boiled sweet finish.

Bottle sample during HaDubim HaDoctor release party at Beer Market. Thanks Gordon! Clear amber. Malty aroma with lots of caramel, nuts, light toastiness, a fruity touch and earthy hops notes. Sweetish flavor with caramel, a bit of toastiness, minerally notes and eathy hops notes. Light to medium-bodied. OK.

Cask: Orange copper colour. Very smooth and silky. A balanced malty flavour with a woody taste too. Some fruity hop in the finish.

50cl bottle from Tesco. Deep amber with a rim of beige head; aroma of caramel and over-boiled hops; rich malty flavour with lots of cane sugar adding depth; but drawn up short by the finish which adds a inconsequential burst of leafy hops. Hopefully the cask version is better!

Bottle 500ml - pours thin and dark brown, minimal head. Metallic nose with a thin caramel taste. Not the best.
