English Fuggles impart a dry, herby bitterness which is balanced by the distinctly biscuity flavour of Crystal and Amber malts.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear amber with a thin white head and broken lace. The aroma is malty with hoppy notes. The flavour is medium bitter and malty with a nice rounded bitterness on the palate and into the aftertaste. A drinkable session beer.

Bottle, shared by fonefan. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Malty, meaty nose with some oxidation hints and a hint of piney hops. Sweet, malty flavor with some hops giving a little bitterness. Medium body. Some metal hints in the otherwise mostly bitter and fruity finish. Not my favorite indeed. 100814
