33cl flip-top bottle from Beers of Europe: BB 6th September 2024. One of those beers you are sure you've had but can't find a rating. Anyway that was rectified by having this bottle on 3rd March 2024 (at home). Not as exciting or crisp as I remembered it, it's golden with a short lived white crown, as the name indicates but it lacks oomph and flavour, it's a rather bland and uninteresting Helles.

0.33 bottle. Nice bottle with a buckle and the label is nice too. The color is normal golden yellow, the head is quite dense, long-lasting, nice white. The aroma is malty, also a little yeasty, but also very slightly grassy and hoppy. However, it is not too intense, so German-like, restrained. The taste also has citrus notes, a slight sour touch, but it is more yeasty, a keller effect. Overall, it is better than average, with good acidity, appropriately full-bodied, and even fruity. Good beer.

Szép csatos üveg és a címke is szép. Színe normál aranysárga, habja egész tömör, tartós, szép fehér. Illata malátás, emellett picit élesztős, de nagyon enyhén füvesen komlós is. Viszont nem túl intenzív, olyan németesen visszafogott. Ízén is érződik citrusosság, icipici savanykás beütés, de inkább élesztős, keller-hatás uralkodik. Összességében közepesnél jobb, jó szensavasságú megfelelően testes, még gyümölcsös hatású is. Jó sör.

Fles in Duitsland gekocht, thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een typische Duitse moutige geur. De smaak is moutig en fris, zacht hoppig.

Flasche 0,33l: Golden, glasklar, kräftiger stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; leicht fruchtige + kräftig malzige Nase, leichte Süße, eher trockene Hopfenaromen, grasig/floral, Malz, Getreide, etwas Karamell, leichte Hefearomen, Brot, Brotteig, leichte malzig-trockene Bitterkeit; leicht fruchtiger + kräftig malziger Körper, leichte grasig/florale Hopfenaromen, Malz, grünes Getreide, etwas Karamell, cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, Brot, Brotteig; leichter malzig-trockener Nachgang

Smell- weak hops, maybe malt. Foam- thin, weak hops, weak acidic and sour tones, weak malt. Head is large, white in color. Sticks. Appearance - re-sealable bottle, brewer unique bottle, and actually somewhat nice label. Clear yellow-amber color, weak carbonation. From - pint Taste- weak malt, weak citrus, faint sourness, weak acidic tones and a bit of malt. Bit of a weird combo, but drinkable.

This hit the spot. Always a sucker for Gold lagers.
