Pour is a clear gold with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is cheap grain and a bit of wet paper bag. Flavor is more grain malt with a super watery finish. Nothing great but worth the novelty of a beer from Vietnam.

It's A Bottled Lager. It's fine, no unpleasantness, no unfortunate aftertaste. Maybe a bit sweeter than some would go for. But it's fine. Does the job.

355ml bottle from Ngon Vietnamese restaurant, Newcastle. Light lagery yellow, clear with intense visible carbonation. Skunks and almost garbage aroma. Sweat and slightly bad corn. Taste is better, extremely sweet bit inoffensive. Finishes on a more balanced note. Light body with soft carbonation despite the appearance. Mmmmm. Nah.

Poured from 330mL can (courtesy of Consul General of Vietnam in Vancouver). Clear light blonde with no head. Mild sweet grain. At least this is canned so no light struck quality like Truc Bach (tried just before this). Very average.

330mL can, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out skunk cabbage, straw and light vegetal notes. Flavour is pretty neutral, with straw and light skunkiness. Pure swill, but not too skunky.

Bright gold, white head. Vague spicy nose. Prickly, with a light sweet start. Hops are almost not noticeable. But not as bad as previous ratings would indicate
