Ruby red beer brewed to produce a full bodied rich malty flavour and has a lightly hopped aftertaste. Light and refreshing.

Cask @ JDW Elgin 261212
Reddish copper, clear, thin white head, minimal lacing
Aroma - caramel malts, some sweet red berry fruits
Taste as aroma, fruity initially, dry, then collapses to a watery middle, thin, watery and dull
Palate - Very thin, no structure, cheap n watery. Finish watery and dry, very poor palate
Overall - Aroma was quite good, it was downhill all the way after that. Pish. Full bodied? Hmmmmmm

Cask @ Hengler’s Circus, JDW. Clear dark orange - brownish colour, off-white head. Nose is malty, bit hoppy, citrus. Flavour is slight roasted malts, bit of coffee, slightly fruity. Dry finish. A bit bland, probably not in best condition.
