Bottle @ home. Gusher! Opaque, murky yellow-orange color, huge rough off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smells a failed attempt to mix a hefeweizen with a belgian ale. Taste wheat, yeast, a slight hint of some fruits and a lot of carbonation that totally overwhelms any other flavors. Low body and way too much carbonation. Won’t finish this one...

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, off-white head. Banana and some berry-like notes. Spiced and slightly yeasty too. It’s medium bodied and with an un-natural feeling carbonation. Some bitterness in the flavor, with a little banana, spices and sugary sweetness. Well, not my favorite weissbier, but the buckthorn addition gives it a nice twist. 110416
