65cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Hey my 100th different French beer and there was me thinking it was all Kronenbourg and Export 33. Clear gold colour with thick white head. Spicey lemon aroma. Very drinkable blond beer in the mouth, bit of spice, oranges too. Bit soapy on aroma and in mouth. Very soft mouthfeel. Finish has some interesting orange fruit notes. Yes, for my 100 not a bad biere de garde. Spice and orange fruit over a soft lager style body.

A hazy orange beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet yeasty, and spicy with coriander standing out. The the flavor is just as the aroma and with a dry end.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark, fully golden with a lively head. Very full-bodied, a malty nose and a distinct, hoppy character on a very sweet background. 240101

Bottled (BB 06/2006)
Lager color with small white head. Weak, fruity trefoil aroma. Sweet, a bit smokey, malty taste. Medium-bodied. Sweetish hoppy aftertaste.

Bottled, 0.7 liter, BB '97 (> 8 years old). Hazy orange coloured, small but lasting head. Aroma is obviously aged, cork wood, port, a bit cinnamon, some hops. More watery taste, some sweetness.
