Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a small white head. Grassy hop nose with fruit and malt notes. Flavour a bit insipid with nothing really punching its weight. Short-lived bitter finish. . Joe Average.

Bottle shared with Ashton. Would make a nice bitter... weird they call it an IPA. Maybe they’re influenced by the Caledonian Brewery?

33cl bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Pours amber with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has more of the biscuity-ness you’d expect from a bitter, maybe there’s rye in there. The taste is definitely more of the same with some toffee and the crisp citrus finish. The palate is well balanced - a start, a middle and an end and it balances. Good beer.

Malty sweetness dominates both aroma and taste. Moderate bitterness gives balance. British style.

33cl Bottle at Lost Property. Dark amber/brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toast, burnt caramel, mellow citrus and fruity hops. Flavour is toast, burnt caramel, bitter cocoa, brown malts, nice citrus/grapefruit hoppy finish. Light to medium-bodied. Tasty brown IPA.

En trevlig IPA. Smak och doft av tropsik frukt, grape- och citrusbeska. Skulle vilja ha lite mer sötma och kropp. Frisk och god.

keg at the bat ... copper ... thin tan head ... sweet toffee malts ...that malt im not fond of nose...sweet malts ... creamy malts ... very soft floral hop... light woody bitter

Bottle from Cunningham - thanks! Pours clear amber to copper with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma with pine, citrus and malt. Medium sweet with a hint of caramel and a bitter finish with citrus and pine. Ok IPA (2012-12-24)
