È bevibile e di facile approccio per la sua categoria di appartenenza grazie al corpo leggero, ancorché dotato di particolare complessità aromatica con note di malto e caramello. Tale risultato è ottenuto mediante l’uso di un processo di produzione che conserva ancora la pratica delle tre miscele di mosto, metodo tradizionale e che richiede tante risorse, ormai quasi in disuso. L’esclusivo processo di fermentazione a bassa temperatura, lungo e complesso, le conferisce un gusto morbido ed unico, che le permette di distinguersi fortemente all’interno della categoria birre rosse.

Ein Bier, von dem ich mir alleine auf Grund der Aufmachung 🧢 mit edler Flasche im eigenem Bierkühlschrank im Supermarkt mehr erwartet hätte. Aber es ist ein pickig süßes Malzgetränk mit viel Alkohol 🍸, aber ohne wirkliches Aroma. Hopfen geht sowieso unter, aber auch das Malz ist so träge, dass es außer zum Süßen nicht viel taugt. Da gibt es weitaus bessere Biere, auch vom Typ Rosso 🔴

bottle from my local kiosk. Clear orange yellow, smooth offwhite head with a red-brown hue. decent fairly strong malty aroma with a hint of dried dark fruits. aroma hints a stronger beer than 5.2% alc. but in a good way, not boozy. more like hinting a fullbodied beer. Flavor is slighlty dark fruity, alc. boozy, unfortunately. malty and a subdued bitter hopping that is not noticed at first, but does put a sharp end to the flavor. unfortunately not very aromatic hops so the ending is herbal bitter , bit nutty bitter. Aroma was definetly the best thing with this beer.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours clear amber with a short-lived thin off-white head. Aromas of caramel and biscuit, lightly metallic. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Caramel and toasted bread aroma. Dark bread, caramel, and a hint of herbal taste.
