bouteille 33cl. major gushing here. Bière sous haute pression comme en témoigne le débit une fois décapsulée. Dorée avec léger trouble, col blanc. Arôme de levure, malt cara avec note de baies de genièvre. Assez typique si l’on a déjà bu cet alcool.

Normally i would beg people to keep their genever away from my beer. This one isn’t too bad though. Mouthfeel wasn’t good.

Bottle, 7%. Yeasty aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is also yeasty. With some cardboardy sweetness and a rough hoppy finish.

Bottle, 7%. Weakly spicy aroma. Sparkling, hazy grey/golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is refreshing and spicy. Hint of bread, some metal. The metal notes fade away when the beer has breathed a bit, though. Still quite rough, some sewer, and some vegetable.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white sparkling head. Aroma is fruits, some alcohol, mild bready notes and some mild juniper. Flavour is fruity, mildly alcoholic and bready notes. Quite pleasantly balanced. Tonguetickling carbonation.
Earlier Rating: 4/23/2008 Total Score: 3.3
Bottled. Hazy orangeish amber colour with mediumsized off white head. Leaves nice lace. Quite lively carbonation, as the beer tried to flee the bottle. Aroma is fruits, spices some mild earthyness. Flavour is quite the same, with some very mild hints of juniper. Alcohol is quite warming.

330 from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Gushed a bit, pouring hazy orange gold with a 1 finger foamy white head. Aroma of almost gin. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is yeast/spice, malt and arguably juniper. Love gin. This isn’t quite that, but it’s pretty tasty. A bit astringent, and much more dry than sweet. Fairly tasty departure from the mundane.

Picked this up at Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium, 08-03-10 consumed 10-03-10 Pours mid-gold with a white head. The aroma suggests the spirit that appears evident from the bottle and description but there also appears to be a little honey. There is some warmth from the alcohol. Honey and spice in the mouth and a sort of mead flavour I detect, not totally my thing but I’ve had worse. A5 A4 F6 P3 Ov11 2.9
