Originally a super brew of Steerage, now with late and fermenting vessel addition of Summit hops for amazing aroma. A distinctive golden hoppy yet crisp ale with fruit tastes on the palate and scent.

Cask@Hbf14. Unclear golden color. Peachy sweet aroma. Flavor has peach, malt, yeast, sweetness, hops. Light bitter, dry finish. Liked the peachy notes here.

Bottle at home. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas are largely floral, some light hop-spice. Taste brings a sweet white-sugar note, and gentle bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, bitterness builds in to the finish. Not bad.

Gravity dispense at the Happy Man, Englefield Green, Midlands BF, 15/03/13. Hazed pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malt, light citrus and fruits. Taste comprises pale malt, pear, orchard fruit, straw, touch of hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Drinkable but average golden/blonde of the whelming variety.

Deep golden colour with a creamy white head. Nice curtain lacing. Light malty and a fine citric hoppy aroma. Medium body. Dominating caramel malty flavour with some nice citric notes. Nice easy drinkable ale.

Bottle from Tesco’s. Poured a clear amber with a long living frothy white head and broken lace. The aroma is malty and buttery, leading to a medium bitter flavour with a nice hoppy bitter palate with some smooth caramel notes. A very refreshing beer, particularly in the summer time.

Cask at Wetherspoon, Birmingham Airport public area
Hazy golden color, with small creamy head. Simple aroma, light malt. Some malt and caramel flavor, the yeast character reminds the Belgian ales, it has a grassy touch, and relatively strong bitterness.
Pleasant, but not very British.
