Taster, on tap, session no. 3, Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Fair tan-coloured head to a deep, dark brown coloured body. Espresso aroma, roasted. Pleasant taste profile of coffee, earth, liquorice and dark chocolate leading to a welcoming, long-lived roasted finish. Medium bodied. Well-made version of the style (03.05.2014).

Dark brown color, small steady brownish head. Coffee and dark caramel in the nose. Light-bodied. Caramel, toffee, some metal, cold coffee and light hops. Sweetish aftertaste. Not really my kind of beer.

Pours pitch black with a smooth white head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, espresso and grassy hops. Taste is roasty, smooth and chocolatey with loads of coffee and espresso. Finish is roasty with loads of coffee. Quite a coffee & espresso overdose.

Aroma has hayish coffee tones, some licorice and roastiness. Flavour is hoppy with licorice, coffee and some salmiac. Rich and nice, the best schwartz I’ve had. Not the most typical though...
