Letošnja GRACE se še vedno potika po širnih belgijskih pivskih planjavah in ostaja v družbi močnih zvarkov tipa strong ale, vendar se tokrat diči še z ikoničnim vzdevkom Tripel.
Poleg atributov, ki jih sicer ponuja ta stil piva - visoka stopnja alkohola (tokrat se giblje okoli 8,5 %), bogato telo in suh zaključek - ima tokratna GRACE tudi nekoliko bolj izrazito aromo hmelja. Ta je posledica dvojnega suhega hmeljenja (DDH) nemške sorte Hallertau Blanc, čigar arome belega grozdja, cvetlic in celo tropskega sadja se lepo ujemajo z bogatim naborom sadnih estrov, predvsem hruške, suhih marelic in banane, ki so rezultat fermentacije pri višji temperaturi.

Transferred from Untappd. Draft at Sir Williams Pub. Clear bright golden color, off white head. Floral aroma with a whiff of booze. Taste is boozy and sweet. OK

Bottled 500ml. -from Spar Brežice. Unclear pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, light grass and alcohol in the nose. Moderate malty, grassy, light fruity and noticable alcohol with mild hrbal touch in the finish.

Bottle. Clear golden, medium sized white foamy head. Gentle yeasty nose, dry fruits, sweet, spices and grassy character. Medium bitterness, pretty spicy, slightly sweet with fruity-flowery character. Peppery finish and yeasty character. Drinkable, hides alcohol well, but not my favourite.

0,5 l bottle. Pours deep yellow with small, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is vinous, yeast, grainy malt, herbal hop notes, a hint of alcohol. But vinous like aroma prevails. Flavor follows aroma. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and slightly sour. Finish is medium long, yeasty with lingering bitterness. Not a proper triple, although it's still drinkable.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear copper pour, one finger soapy white head. Good retention, lasting head, broken lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is grassy and grainy, some wheat notes. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. Very fizzy mouthfeel, light to medium texture. Bitter with slight sour notes. Aroma of Belgian yeast, wheat, grains. Subtle fruity notes Minerals. Moderate alcohol presence, subtle burn on the tongue, warming. Long lasting finish, dry and liquory. Solid tripel. Perhaps a bit thin but good brew nonetheless.
