Can at home, 23rd April 2022. Pours a thick black and viscous liquid. Aroma is Black Forest gateau, dark chocolate, sour cherry, sponge cake. Taste is rich, dark chocolate, bitter, cherry, dark chocolate and cherry liquor, cake, really tasty and an excellent Imperial Stout

Can at home picked up from Cloudwater online. A oily jet black colour with a dirty dark tan brown coloured head. Aroma is super rich, chocolate sponge cake, cinnamon, tart cherry. Flavour is composed of super rich cakey malts, oily, kirsch, cherry syrup, chocolate sponge, mild tonka, vanilla. Palate is oily, full bodied, velvety, sticky sweet, Fucking grate.

Appearance is oily midnight black, no head at all. Aroma is chocolate, cake, fudge, coffee hints, cherry, hints of dark fruit, cakey malt, brownie. Taste is as advertised- liquified Black Forest gateaux. Rich dark chocolate, chocolate malt, cherry sauce, hints of blackcurrant, overdone fruitcake, brownie, cake, roast malt, sweet and sticky. Full, thick and chewy mouthfeel. Excellent stuff.

440ml can. Thick and sweet with some of cherry juice, tonka and loads of dark chocolate, some syrup, dry roastiness and cocoa. Quite heavy and complex, but the tonka cherry sweetness doesn't fit in very well.

ABV: 11.0%. Hazy dark brown black colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, brown head. Aroma is light heavy malty, cocoa, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dark chocolate, cake, spicy, tonka, rich, cherry, vanilla. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long long duration, spicy, chocolate, cocoa, dark chocolate, rich chocolate, tonka, cherry, vanilla, rich, heavy sweet - sugary, cake, cherry liquid, thick, fatty. Body is ful, texture is creamu and sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210123]

Can at home from CW online. Pours jet black, thick as engine oil, with a dirty tan head. Aroma is chocolate, fudge, cocoa, dried fruit, cherry. Taste is like liquidised boozy dark chocolate brownie you'd buy from a posh artesan bakery, sour cherry, lots of fudge. Boozy kick at the end. So thick and unctious. This is amazing!

Canned, 440 ml from Goblet. shared with Max, Miro B and Cvrle. Black with brown head. Dense chocolate, some orange peel in aroma, dark fruit, red fruit, cherries, dense, sweet. Some fruity tartness. Medium bodied. Oily.
