Named after a classic car owned by the boss’s father, Lagonda has been a house beer since 1997. The beer was originally designated an IPA but we feel pale ale better reflects current beer definitions. Pale in colour, the malts provide a sturdy body on which is built a citrus and floral hop character.

330ml - Pours a lightly hazed golden colour with a small frothy white head that settled. Aroma is fruity, peach, oranges and some grassy notes. A moderately sweet taste, pale malts, pithy oranges and light grassy flavours with some dryness and hoppy bitterness in the finish.

Blikje gekregen bij afscheid werk. Goudgeel helder bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma van hop en citrus. Smaak is licht fruitig en hoppig. De hoppige smaak blijft even hangen.

Keg tap at the West Riding Refreshment Rooms, Dewsbury. Mid- to dark gold and clear with a small off-white head and visible carbonation. Sweet honeyed aroma with light notes of citrus hop and some woody/spruce character. Nicely balanced taste: nowhere near as bitter as a classic Weat Coast IPA but plenty of balance. The initial sip isn't overly sweet but rather carries a bitter/savoury note to the finish. The tongue-coating bitterness is prevalent in the aftertaste Along with vitter orange and kumquat peel. There's lots going on in this beer.
