Basis dieser Hoiz-Rarität ist ein im Oktober 2019 eingebrauter Barley Wine.
Nach der Hauptgärung kam er für 1 Jahr in ein Heaven Hill Bourbon Fass mit anschließender Flaschengärung.
Im Aroma dominieren süßes Dörrobst und Rohkakao.
Der Eindruck bleibt auch beim Antrunk bestehen und paart sich vorbildlich mit würziger Muskatnuss, Vanille und Eichennoten – wärmende Wirkung inklusive.

Taster at home courtesy of Sander, thanks. brown hazy color, small yellowish head. smells wood, berry notes, jammy, bourbon, vanilla, black currants, light sweetness, very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes of bourbon, wood, some sweetness, some berry / currant notes, jammy, marzipan, honey, nutty. finishes lightly sweet with notes of honey, marzipan and nutty notes. nice stuff, liked the smell actually better then the taste. bit heavy and not super complex. overall still nice beer though.
