A refreshing, full flavoured, hoppy golden ale. Mellow marmalade and fruity citrus grapefruit flavours and aromas are balanced with a gentle malt background to give a very pleasing beer. Named after the waterfall high on Kinder Scout in the Derbyshire Peak District.

Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, some marmalade in there, malty, slight sweetness. This would make a great session ale. Best Buxton of the evening for me.

Cask at CP&K. It pours golden yellow, with a small-medium white head. The nose is fresh citrus (particularly lime), some sweatiness, grainy, grass and light soap. The taste is lime, pith lemon, grapefruit, grass, graininess and some soap, with a dry, lightly citric finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent citrusy golden ale.

Sampled from bottle @ monthly De Molen tasting. Slightly unclear yellow to golden color, small to medium sized off-white head thatโ€™s diminishing fairly quickly. Smell malts, some hops, slightly sweet. Taste malts, lightly hops, decently bitter, slightly a hint of fruits. Medium carbonation, low to medium body.

Aroma is fruity with peaches and hay. Flavour is rather fruity too with peach, some mando and some hay. Quite fruity and rich for a real ale.

Clear amber color, good off-white head. Very sweet fruity hoppyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Pine needles in the hoppy flavor. Long resiny bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice real ale.

(Cask at Black Door, 20120715) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were hops, fruitiness, pine, malts and strong bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Hops were quite dominating and the overall impression was musty.
