Tap during RBESG2015, Day 2, MalmΓΆ, Sweden - pours amber with a white head. Aroma and taste is a mix ofsweet tropical fruits, prominent grapefruit and mandarin, with good malty backbone, caramel, toffee, pine needles, bitter finish.

Keg at the Bishops Arms Savoy, Malmo, Day 2 of RBESG ’15 21/08/15. Lightly hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, light spice, orange pith, bitter tropicana, grapefruit. Taste comprises caramel malt, bread dough, bitter orange, light white pepper, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but lower end for this style.

Pour is a dark red with a small white head. Aroma is caramel sweetness with citrus bitterness. Flavor is a decent hop but then that sweet caramel malt takes over. Finish is malt sweetness with a touch of bitterness. Another one of these double IPA’s where the malt far outpowers the hops. Probably better fresh but I’m rating the bottle I was given.

Many thanks to Chris! Dark amber colour. Extremely malty sweetish beginning. Nice fresh and intense hops around, sticky pine, hints of caramel. A bit bitter till the end. Too sweet, nice intense hops. Round, nice.

I really like the way this one is built. I’m digging the big resinous, dank hops with a touch of grapefruit juice behind. Malts are full and rounded with a caramel sweetness but not over-stepping the hops at all - rather it stays at most semi-sweet to balanced, with plenty of hop resin coating the mouth leading to a long piney finish. Clean.

Pretty good DIPA. Pours a slightly cloudy, copper-gold, with medium-sized head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Flavor is a bit boozy, with lots of sweetness, some pine and citrus from the hops, smooth, sweet finish. Not a bad example at all...

Bottle from Mustard Seed Market. Pours a clears orange with a medium head that dies down quickly . Aromas of grainy maltiness with a little honey and some light orange scents. Flavor has a lot of grain and sugar with a decent bitterness and an orange and floral edge to the hops flavor, but it kind of falls a little flat and comes off as a sweet sticky thing that is good, but uninspiring.

Pours hazy , unclear dark amber , with a small yet creamy and rather stable head . Smell is very malty, with a bitter side and a fruity back . Bit sweet . Taste is damn good, just what I seek in an IIPA . Malty forward , creamy mouthfeel , hoppy , bitter, some fruits , but not too much of them . Finish is bitter, with clear malt tones . Lovely beer in every aspect !

Best before April 10th, almost too bitter and boozy.
