Bottle. Orange-brown with a lacy head and tons of carbonation rising. Fresh citrus hop aroma, earth caramel, metal. Great hop flavor, metal, citrus (grapefruit), grass, earth. Decent caramel malt backing, rich though not very sweet. Strong, dry, bitter hop finish with grapefruit zest. A nice traditional style IPA.

Pours a lighter amber-orange color with mid-sized head. Not as hop-bitter as some IPAs. The malt flavors come through quite strongly. Sweet aftertaste and finish. Not bad.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy copper with a foamy off-white head. Floral hop aroma. Medium plus body with foamy carbonation. The hop is so intense that the malt is hardly detectable. What kind of hop? Iโm guessing floral and grassy. Earthy too. Some spicey bits. Itโs a lot of hop. Itโs wonderful.

Nice amber pour. Nose and taste is floral citrus. Brewed with seven types of hops, but I didnโt think this was hoppy enough. Rated 12/8/2000

Tap and cask at Rattle n Hum. Iโve had this beer on cask and draft and I far prefer it on draft. On cask, the bitterness is much more mellowed. Almost like a hoppy juice. On draft, the hops are more potent. A nice, sticky mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Very little carbonation with the cask version. A solid beer overall, but more so on draft. It is worthwhile to compare the two, though. but if youโre a pure hop-head stick with draft.

bottle, pours carmel with a tall off white head. Strong hop resin and pine aroma. Nice sweet carmel malt balanced with a piney hot hop character that ends nice and dry. Very easy to drink and I really like the malt/hop contrast.
