500 ml AdamC. Hazy gold, no head. Aroma is nice, grassy, Belgian yeast, mild house blanket.

Flavor is like a Brett hopped Pilsner or Belgian Brett inspired brew. I enjoy this flavor, grassy, herbal, Brett yeast and a slightly bitter finish. This is really tasty, really enjoy the blend of flavors here.

500ML bottle, split 5 ways

A - Pour is a very light yellowish looks like a Pilsener with a 2 finger solid white head.

S - Good bitterness, straw-like fresh cut grass aroma with a mild funk.

T - up front, piney chestnut bitterness hits almost immediately with middle being a walnut, almond, pistachio and hay taste with grassy finish and just a small hit of table sugar and then fades with lingering pine.

M - Clean mouthfeel with a really good lingering bitter finish

O - I love funky beers and this is basically a Pilsener with Brett. So good.

2009 bottle. Aroma is honestly quite muted. Only hints of floral notes and a light Brett note. Brett is cherry with a touch of barnyard. Pours a fairly cloudy golden orang with a pillowy white head that has fairly good retention. Small head persists with moderate lacing as well. Flavor is a bit better, but the malt still tastes stale at this point in time. Light pineapple and cherry notes from the Brett. Medium low bitterness. A bit of a floral, woody note in the flavor with hints of phenolics. A light honey note in the finish. A mineral note from the water is also noticeable. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and fairly low alcohol warmth. Overall a surprisingly underwhelming beer. I’m not sure if its the age or something else, but this beer doesn’t have much character to it. Stale and slightly oxidized. Brett character hasn’t come on strong enough to make up for the age.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright blonde color ale with a super huge foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of funky barnyard notes with some light tart notes and some pungy hops are quite nice. Taste is a great mix between some floral dry hops notes with light pungy characteristics mix ion with some notes of funky barnyard ester and a tart finish. Body is full with great carbonation. I though this was a great take on an Orval-like beer style with loads of complex notes.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy golden with a small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a fruity hop and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a wheat and dry hop. A very good wild ale from New Glarus

Clear blond body. Nice aroma of american hops and caramalts: well balanced. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Well balanced, but not very complex. Very drinkable and quite nice though.
