Bottle @ home. Huge gusher- I think I lost a quarter of the bottle. Very cloudy, bright, light orange appearance with a fluffy, off white head. Fairly strong brett, lots of funk, lemon citrusy, moderately sour aroma. Quite funky, strong bretty, mild to moderately sour, lemon tart, tangy, leather-like flavor. The brett and funk are really in your face.

500ml bottle pours a hazy gold with a very frothy white head. Nose is nice, brettty, celery, dusty, grassy, some white grapes, light wood, almost like sawdust. Flavor is sweet, some residual sugar like a tripel, grass, malt, lemon, brett. Dry finish, just a touch of booze. Neat.

I had this as a taster at the New Glarus Brewery. Aroma is of sour yeast, very good Belgian sour aroma, light clove, cheese. Appearance golden, very cloudy white head. Taste sour but not too sour, great introduction for those not particularly into sours.

Bottle shared by some generous soul at the RBSG grand tasting. Thanks! Golden color. A funky sourness. Not extremely acidic, but it has a lot of funk and horse blanket in it, which kind of take over. Nice but a bit wacky.

Bottle shared by some generous soul at the RBSG opening night, thanks whoever you are! Poured a slightly hazy dark gold with a white head that dissipated slowly. Aroma had a strong yeasty/musty note with plenty of fruit (apple). Flavor had lots of yeast with fruit growing in to a dry somewhat bitter apple finish.

500 mL bottle. j12601 was kind enough to rush me a bottle after another trader flaked out. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. The aroma is full of funk, slightly musty and with an earthy note. Some faint citrus notes as well. The taste is musty bretty notes with a bit of barnyard and leather. Some slight vegetal notes and faint dry fruits. Slight hoppy note in the finish. Medium bodied with fairly strong carbonation. Good beer, and a worthy one for my 2800th rating. 5/19/10

Bottle from Matt (madvike). Slightly hazy medium orange body, medium clumping off-white head. Floral, herbal nose with pineapple and toast. Strongly carbonated body, floral and perfumey, with pineapple. Not too sour, but tannic and tart. Dry, almost soapy finish. Like drinking an old yet vital book.
