In the UK Stout is mixed with champagne and called a Black Velvet.We have collaborated with Brickers Cider to make a ‘Black Cider’, with OTR’s Oat Stout and Brickers off dry Cider for a wonderfully refreshing blend of flavors.

Good brown body and nice foam, nice meld of a coffee stout and apple cider on the nose. Flavour is mostly stout with an acidic cider kick, not bad really, a little bit of an acquired taste. Good grain and carbonation, it's all still good.

Poured from the tap. Clear dark brown with small beige head. Crisp apple notes upfront with a roast malt, subtle coffee finish. Takes some time for all the flavours to hit. Interesting combo, don’t mind it at all, but would still prefer to have one or the other.
