Has good black body but foam isn't dense enough. Smells of nice coffee and simple dark chocolate. Flavour is mellow brown sugar, some soft molasses, mouthfeel is thin with little dryness. A little underwhelming.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour with creamy beige head. Some cardboard aroma; timid chocolate and roasted malt flavour, I would have expected something a bit more robust, but eventually this is quite refreshing.

Deep brown with a decent beige head. Toast and chocolate. Cocoa and chocolate with a soft finish.

On tap at Fraser Mills, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle oats and subtle earthy coffee. Flavour is dry, with earthy coffee and hearty oats. Not much complexity and roundedness in the palate, but it's pleasant enough.
