It’s been a while since we’ve done a west coast IPA and we’ve been craving for a good one. The usual suspects of hops are used in this one, like Cascade, Centennial, Amarillo and Columbus.

Can, 0.33l, courtesy of AleLiquids6. Aroma of orange, passion fruit, mango and biscuit. Pours cloudy dark golden color with thin creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly and resinous, following is citrusy, tropical fruity and bready with carrot note, mouthfeel is smooth, warm and mild spicy, while finish is herbal bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Dankmeister...

BB 01/10/2021, 330ml can, around three weeks old can;
APPEARANCE: golden, coppery color, mild chill haze, quite good clarity, small ring of off white head
AROMA: indeed dank as the name suggests, sweet cannabis, orange candy and low notes of orange jam, dried apricot, melon, papaya, moderate malty sweetness - candy like, no obvious caramel or bread/toast; citrusy notes underneath, lime, hints of lemon candy/oil, earth, gentle spicy presence; alcohol is hidden;
TASTE: restrained carbonation, medium light to medium body, slightly oily and slick mouthfeel, very subtle sulfur note; less fruit forward on the palate as suggested on the nose, notes of melon and stone fruits; clean malt profile with moderate sweetness, subtle caramel, soft notes of cannabis in the middle, smooth lemon - lime presence provides refreshing touch, decent amount of bitterness with grapefruit flesh and zest, light grassy and resinous presence; moderately to medium dryness with lingering bitterness
OVERALL: clean execution, appropriate malt profile helps to balance out the bitterness (stated as 90IBU but doesn't feels like that), dankness is there, crazy drinkable for 8% abv and with no sign of booze at all; solid work from Lobik guys
