Bottle from Waitrose, Wycombe. Deep gold, more fizzy than it needs to be. Up front it's quite sweet considering the bottle claims it's medium-dry; it does have dryness in the finish though. Taste is of tangy apple skins with sweet lemon and a light farmyard hint. Some woodiness comes through as you drink more, and there's a wisp of vanilla in the finish. It's quite drinkable; better than average, but nothing to make it stand out, which matches my general experience of Westons.

14/11/2023. Bottle from Tesco, Martlesham. 7.3% abv. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is rich apple, caramel, touch funky, citric, apple pie edge. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and tartness. Medium body, very oily, quite fizzy. Quite enjoyable.

500ml bottle from Frivolity Bottle Shop, Darlington. Pale golden colour, bubbly white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of sweet apple, fruity, woody, funk hint. Taste is sweetish, fruity apple, sugary, with a vanilla hint, some citric acidity and woody notes. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, medium-dry finish with alittle lingering sweetness. Quite OK

Bottle at home picked up from Tesco. A mostly clear golden coloured pour with a small fading fizz. Aroma is tart apple, woody pips, bark, earthy notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tart, lemon rind, earthy apple, bark. Juicy tart crisp apple. Palate is tart and crisp, highish carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle from Tesco dot org. It pours crystal clear very pale greenish - gold with a tiny fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy, apple tango, apple skin, dull barnyard funk, snappy, crisp, apple crumble, hay and oak. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, juicy, tangy apple, apple tango, lightly tannins, appletiser, toothy, hint of acidity, apple blossom, chalky, dry oak and a blast of booze with a drying, sweetish finish. Medium body and a very fine hint of fizzy carbonation. Has a grainy, gritty vibe in there. I drank thus pretty cold and it drank pretty well.
