Beer with a characteristic flavour which Polish consumers recognize with their eyes closed. It is characterized by an original flavour which combines malt and hops, beautiful, deep amber colour, and higher alcohol content (6.5%). Strong is so exceptional due to the unique composition of two malts: Pilsner malt, which provides the beery character, and toasted malt, which provides the unique, sweet after-taste and amber colour. Strong is a top-quality beer that for many years has been appreciated and enjoyed by the consumers.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear deep golden, mid sized head. Aroma of green apples and corn flakes. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Green apples, cereals and some alcohol. Low bitterness. Mostly off flavours, but remains tolerable.

Farbe würde ich es als klaren, hellen Bernstein sehen. Tannennadeln in der Nase, geschmacklich allerdings fast nicht mehr vorhanden. Der allererster Antrunk ist sehr süß - aber das gibt sich bei allen folgenden Schlucken. Das Bier braucht ein bisschen um sich zu entwickeln. Mild röstige Noten, etwas Holz, ein ganz winziger Anflug von Vanille und Weihnachtsgebäck. Milde Hopfung. Der relativ hohe Alkoholgehalt ist nicht zu hervorstechend. Durchaus wohlschmeckend und erstaunlich süffig. Hab ich in einem kleinen Mix Markt gekauft. Die Supermarktkette hat sich auf Produkte aus Osteuropa spezialisiert. Obwohl der Laden nicht groß war, wurde hier eine erstaunliche Auswahl an polnischen, russischen und tschechischen Bieren geboten. Und preislich auch ganz OK.

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours dark gold with a creamy beige head. Aroma of sugar cookie and fruit. Med body plus. Flavor is cookie/biscuit and pale stone fruits. Not to eliminate reddish plum tho. Reasonably towards dry. Decently bitter. Traces of corn in the finish. Decent.

Bottle from a deli in Poznan. Clear amber, thin, off-white head. Aroma of red apple, plum, brown sugar, biscuit. Taste has sweet biscuit, brown sugar, apple & plum; faint herbal hops in the finish, a bit metallic, quite sugary still. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation. Very basic, industrial obviously, but actually not as bad as stronger alcoholic Pale Lagers.
