An English Ale with a distinctive flavour of dark toffee and caramel combined with a crisp bitterness derived from using rare Bramling Cross hops. Tropical and berry fruits from the mix of hops, in particular the rare Bramling Cross which adds black and redcurrants. Challenger in the boiling copper gives robust bitterness and this is balanced by the sweetness from the pale and crystal malts. (Bottle 4.7%)

Bottle from Tesco’s. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is rich malt. The flavour is medium bitter, with a liqourice, malt, hoppy palate. A great English session ale.

Stylish clear 0,5 l glass bottle, optical like a Whiskeybottle. A light amber in the glass, mighty light tannend head, nice CO2 pearls. Intensive malt and mash on the nose. Starts bitter, burned grain, intensifies in the following tims. To the end hopy, cold black tea with orange. But not my cup of tea.

50 cl bottle @ Pappila. Rated on 24.07.2010
Aroma has toffee, some caramel, English hops and hints of hay. Flavour is slightly sweet with lots of toffee typical to English ales. Also some caramel and hints of biscuits. Very English.
