Very dark brown beer with huge and beige head. It takes almost 15 minutes to get beer into glass. Aroma is roasted, milk like sourness and some chocolate. Taste is similar than aroma, roastiness, coffee and some sourness; simple, but still tastefull. Quite light to drink, still quite pleasant. Nice, simple and tastefull beer, but more body would be great.

500ml Bottle (Thanks Yngwie) - Dark brown with a foamy tan head. Malty and slightly soapy aroma with hints of chocolate. The taste is roasted and chocolatey with hints of soap, hops, coffee and nuts. Not bad at all.

courtesy of Cheeseman. Batch# 211 Pours brown, light mocha head. Aroma is lightly malty, some esters and chocolate. Flavor, thin body, hints of tart fruits, esters, light roast, thin chocolate, dry palate. Definitely has a unique palate mostly dominated by esters, giving the finish a sour like feel.

From Akevitt. Black of course. Tall, dark brown head. Very dry aroma of roasted grain. Flavor has come chocolate and burnt popcorn. Thick palate and full bodied. This is well above average, but a porter can only be so much.
