15/1/2022. Can from Hoptimaal online store shared with ITFCDan. Pours thick black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, black treacle, liquorice, coffee. Moderate sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, low carbonation. Touch of chilli comes through to finish. Liked this.

Can from Beerdome. Nice head with good duration. Color is pitch black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, lots of vanilla, coffee, cinnamon, cocoa, hops and little chili in the finish. Nice and warming.

350ml can. Jet black colour with small, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan to brown head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty and spicy aroma, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, coffee, some white coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, hazelnut liqueur. Taste is sweet, chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty and spicy, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, chocolate sauce, cinnamon, some vanilla, hazelnut liqueur, chili; lingering, chocolately finish with accumulating peppery spiciness. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Nice (though not original) composition, controlled spiciness (not overdone with the habaneros), not as harmonious, balanced and homogeneous as e.g. Stone's Xocoveza - good.

Not that thick, a bit oily. Somewhat sweet, dark chocolate and black pepper, smooth, pepper lingers very nicely. Very nice.

Taste - light green note again, with definite chocolate, vanilla and coffee through to the finish. Palate - creamy and medium bodied, elegant finish. Overall - yes, like it.

0,35l can at home bought from De Bierliefhebber. Canned 10/2019. black color, dark coffee colored head. smells cocoa, vanilla, coffee, some pepper, light coconut, cinnamon, nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes of vanilla, coconut, light sweetness, coconut, coffee, marzipan, nutty, light artificial flavouring, cinnamon, bit fudgy, bitter chocolate. finishes bitter / sweet with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and coffee notes. lovely, great balance, peppers basically not detectable (which is a good thing anyway). does not taste like its already a year old (if the sticker is to be believed). bitter almond taste gets a bit heavy once warmer.
