Cask at the Wharf. A clear dark golden beer with a small, white head on top. Thereโs some citrusy hops doing most of the aroma, but some room left for malts and some biscuits. Medium body, semi-dry and soft on the palate. Nice bitterness in the flavor, biscuity maltyness underneath. Citrusy end. Overall, a quite pleasant one, easy drinkable and worth a revisit. 120624

Cask. Pours an almost clear amber with a small off-white head. Avery neutral, perhaps a discreet whiff of caramel. Medium body, low carbonation and a very smooth mouthfeel. Caramel and overripe fruit with a subdued bitterness. Very easy to drink. 070412

Cask at the Crosse Keys. Pours clear, rich gold with a tight, white-cream cap. Aroma holds some ripish fruits and bready malts. Alright flavor, light to medium sweet, some white sugar, citric bitters, mild dough. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat sticky finish, sweet malts, light leaves and sticks, some fruity sugars. Decent.

26th October 2010.
Spoons Fest! Slighty hazy gold beer, residual suddy white head. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Creamy even malt base. Nice fresh grapefruit hop tempered by some sweeter orange and peach. Finishes the same. Tasty decent beer - guzzled down thirstily!
