Make way for his royalty: This Double IPA marks the highest amount of hops & oats in a brew we did so far. Double Dry hopped with royal amounts of bright and pungent Citra, Motueka and Amarillo and fermented with our new favorite strain of an english ale yeast for a super smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Notes of juicy ripe stone fruits, sweet orange and a tiny hint of vanilla.

Fruchtiger, herb-hopfiger Beginn. Weich süß-herber Mittelteil, hefig-fruchtig, süffig. Spritzig hopfig, ansteigende Herbe, vollmundig. Der Hopfen nimmt etwas zu, würzig, langer, etwas trockener Nachhall. Gut. 10/12/12/12/13/12

440ml can. Cloudy, light orangey, golden colour with average to huge, super dense, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly suppressed, citrusy and mildly grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemongrass, hints of lemon drops, cautious zesty hints of orange and mandarine. Taste is sweet-ish, biscuity, pale malty, minimally oaty, citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon and orange, minimally bitter, zesty hints of lemon, orange, mandarine, subtle sweet-ish hints of lactose, vanilla, yellow stone fruit. Creamy, oily texture, smooth, soft, creamy palate, very fine, soft, minimally prickly carbonation. Very well crafted, clean, but somehow restricted concerning the intensity (and richness) of hop flavours; more condensed and narrow than evolving and spreading - very nice nevertheless.
