Acapella made a fleeting cameo as part of our output late on last year, the super small batch release only making it out to a super limited number of people before it disappeared back into the wilderness again.
When looking through our brew plans for a beer to rebrew, we decided there was some seriously unfinished business with this beer, and as a result, Acapella is back - absolutely loaded to the nines with the freshest Mosaic, El Dorado, Simcoe and Columbus we could possibly get our hands on; version two is arguably better than our first effort.
Mango, papaya, passionfruit and just a little bit of pithy grapefruit bitterness are all bursting from this amped up, maxed out DIPA.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, still has decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, a nice level of creamy sweetness. Soft pine into a nibbly hop spice. Smooth but bright orange and tangerine citrus integrate well. No Columbus filth I can pick up and as per these days, Mosaic is largely anonymous. However there is a light touch of El Dorado Sakura and some candy fruits from somewhere The nibbly hop spice becomes a little more bitey on the otherwise smooth finish. Good stuff. Another very harmonious and sinkable dipa from Polly

Keg at The Farmer's Boy, St Albans, Herts (last November). A murky/hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Rich, hoppy, mango, peach, tropical/stone fruit aroma and taste. Rich, juicy and very easy to drink. A seriously good DIPA.
