A hazai fejlesztésű, 2003-ban bevezetett Borsodi Bivaly 6,5%-os alkoholtartalmával a mezőny legerősebb indulója. A Borsodi Sörhöz képest testesebb ízű és kissé sötétebb színű Bivaly íze és ereje tökéletes harmóniát alkot.

Can. Creamy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoippy aroma. Slighly sweet and light bitter flavor. Average finish. Creamy palate and slightly alcoholic. Still OK beer.

Das Bier hat einen deutlich alkoholischen Touch. Dabei präsentiert sich der Mittelteil zugleich wässrig, auch der Nachgeschmack ist zu lasch geraten, auch wenn hier eine gewisse Herbe durchdringt. Immerhin ist es bedingt würzig. Alles erscheint etwas verschwommen bei diesem Bier, scheint wirklich auf Massenkompatibilität ausgerichtet zu sein.

Canned. Clear golden, rich head. Neutral aroma. Sweet with solid body and clean mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A half decent strong lager.
