Named for the World War II aircraft, this beer was brewed initially by Mitchell’s in Lancaster, England. When Mitchell’s retired from brewing, it was picked up by neighbor Thwaites and they turned it into a major brand. In 2014 Marston's took over production of most Thwaites beers after the closure of the latter's main brewery. Banks's already brewed Lancaster Bomber under licence since 2014 but now Banks's is part of Marston's and the beer has become a Banks's in house beer. So you may see this beer branded as Banks's or Marstons.

Creamy off white head left a spotty cover on a clear amber body. Caramel & malt aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the front with a creamy back. Sweet caramel, sugar, jam & berry tastes with a long tangy finish. Decent Pint.

Barwa bursztynowa, klarowne, piana biała, dość obfita, umiarkowanie trwała. W aromacie słodowe, lekko karmelowe, ziołowo-herbaciano-trawiaste. W smaku półsłodkie, nieco karmelu, trochę tostów, sporo nut angielskich chmieli, pojawia się herbata i nieco trawy nawet. Goryczka średnia, przyjemna, wysycenie i ciało w normie. Chyba najlepsze z aktualnej oferty piw brytyjskich z Lidla.
