Pitching somewhere between a dark mild and a porter, Maltiverse is a coming together of the worlds of sessionable dark beer. Released in parallel we have two takes, one carbonated and one nitrogenated. Robust roastiness balances perfectly with sweet biscuit notes, as coffee and chocolate aromas emanate from this classic version.

Can at home from Siren online. A dark nutty brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is nutty earth roast, hazelnut choc spread, faint ash, coffee grounds. Flavour is composed of light tang, earthy nutty roast, hazelnut, hint of choco, some dried fruits. Palate is light tang, little thin, some chalky finish, highish carbonation. ok. Good low boost option.

Can at home, from Siren online, 27/01/21. Black with a good sized tan head that dissipates in time but stays for the show. Nose is bitter roast, dried fruits, ashen tones, chocolate biscuit. Taste comprises roast malts, cocoa powder, light charr, raisins, hint of red berry fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light dryness in the close. Solid flavoursome porter considering the ABV.
