A black beer, a head is quite small and light brown. Aroma has dark chocolate, roasted coconut, some vanilla and caramel. Taste has caramel body, chocolate, coconut, fatness of coconut, some liquorice. Full bodied, but not stickyness. Feels sweet. Coconut is quite dominating, but it's fine for me. Tastefull.

Keg at BD Shoreditch - London. Pours clear deep brown with with a small, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, some ash, burnt earth, cigarettes, some dark fruit, burnt nuts. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation toon. Sweet finish, lightly warming, more scorched nuts, cocoa. A bit scattered.

Can, 12%. Very dark brown with small head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and cake. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, sweet, coconut, coffee, warming and a little bitter.

Bottle from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque black with no head. Aroma is vague but with notes of rotated malt, vanilla, milk, coffee, dried apricot, prunes and cocoa. Taste is medium to very sweet, light to medium bitter, faint acidic and faint to light salty. Body is creamy with faint carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, rye bread, malt syrup, liquorice, coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, dried apricot, rotated coconut, fresh coconut, Danish pastry and say sauce. Very rich and well balanced

16 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of chocolate, gentle coconut, and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is indeed like a sweet, liquid pastry -- there's loads of chocolate and coconut upfront, with a touch of vanilla. Medium-high sweetness, with a liquidy chocolate and coconut finish. Tasty pastry stout.
