Black color, creamy head. Quite good Stout, mixing a fairly strong roasted malt character with a creamy touch. The final has a sharp roasted malt in it. Good.

Cask at 78 Glassgow ... Deep black ...tight lasting foam head ... roast malts little milky maltness ... easy sweetness ... bitter chocolate and coffee . Cask at falcon Chester... Dark brown ... Draught at The 78, Glasgow. Near black, creamy nitro head. Tarry nose. Medium sweet with somewhat sticky, mushy mouthfeel. One dimensional tarry flavour. Salty finish. Lame and lifeless like a sweetened Guinness.

A brown beer with a red shine under a thick light brown head. The aroma is sweet roasted combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with a strong roasted character, and the mouthfeel is very smooth. Nice.

(Draught at Princess Louise, Holborn, London, 30 July) Colour is pitch black with a firm beige head. Nose is roasted with chocolate, mocha, coffe (with milk), chocolate mousse. Taste is roasted with chocolate, cocoa and coffee. Medium body and a balanced dry bitterness in the finish. Really well made stout with a nice chocolate twist to it.

Draught@Princess Louise, Holborn, London. Almost opaque black, nice creamy tan head. Crisp aroma with toasted malts in it. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Roasted malty, a copy of Guinness Draught but slighlty tastier and maybe fuller. Bitterness in the aftertaste is softer than in Guinness.

Smallish tan creamy head; opaque black body. Aroma so faint I canโt pick anything up. Dense, burnt, coffee-ish, bitter taste. Very harmonic. Faintly sourish. Taste subdued, yet complex. Very nice, and very drinkable, if not the most exciting stout Iโve had. (On tap at Cittie of Yorke.)
