My last White Pony beer purchased en masse from Belgian Happiness earlier this year. I pour from the 33 cl bottle into my Straffe Hendrik tulip glass to see a dark cola-colored liquid with a steady skim of parchment brown, very fine bubbles. And the nose? Quite good, there is dark plums, raisins and a slight vinous presence. The taste only builds on that, a serious step up. Figs, fruit cake, some interesting booziness, grain, malt, candi sugar and black raisins. Heavy in sensation and taste. I think this is the best White Pony brew out of the ones tried, a quality quadrupel.
