Originally brewed for the Midsummer Leisure pubs for Midsummers Day in 1985. Then produced throughout British Summertime as 'Summer Ale'. It proved so popular that demand increased for it throughout the year.
Golden Delicious became the new name for this year round beer.
Hops used are Challenger with Styrion late in the copper.

Gravity cask at Ashfor d Rugby Club. Golden colour thin white head. Bit of hay on nose some green apple acids, then some toffee, caramel leading to caramel smooth finish. Nose is not too attractive but otherwise this is ok
