Medium to good cream head, reasonably stable and fine bubbled, over dark, unclear brown beer. Chocolate, chocolate truffles, liquorice, bit of marzipan, pastry, dry wood. Light-sourish wood and chocolate. Melanoidins, dark malts in force. Again a bit like Be pralines , truffles. Finish is a tad drier, but still sweet, very little bitterness. Well bodied, if not really thick. Very good carbonation, almost spritzy, yet velvety texture. Certainly not bad. For what it is worth with those styles, I would imagine a classical quadrupel more dense, viscous, and stronger. This however is not quite unlike a strong dark Walloon ale.
