Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet malt aroma with caramel, yeast, some ripe fruity and sugary notes. Flavour is fairly sweet with low bitterness. Body is medium. Not for me.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with an sweet bitter taste with an touch of booze, hints of fruits, caramel and some coriander.

Bottle from Beers of Europe which my goth daughter made me buy because she wanted the bottle cap! Hazy amber with an off-white head. Alcohol dominates from start to finish. Pleasantly fruity and yeasty up front before dust and booze takes over, at which point it gets a bit harsh. Not the best.

En tulipa, color ámbar, turbia, espuma beige claro, abundante con bastante residuo y bien retenida. Aroma marcadamente maltoso con notas de hierba, frutos secos, algo de caramelo, lúpulo, cuero... En boca es agradable, cuerpo medio, entra ligeramente dulce con notas de malta tostada, frutas secas, algo de madera...El amargor es medio, se siente algo astringente... En general una ale agradable que sin ser la 'number one' no me importaría para nada repetir, disfrutable.

Bottle at Goblet. Murky red-amber body, off-white head. Vinuous, sourish aroma, yeasty. Sweetish yeasty-malty taste, meaty, Belgian yeast spiciness, minty. Meeeeh. A mess.

Sans être tonitruante, cette Satan Red fait le job. Le visuel est sur une robe dorée avec une fine effervescence et une mousse blanc cassé crémeuse de 1,5 cm. Le nez est simple sur des céréales, pain noir et cassonade avec de légères épices. En bouche, cela reste simple mais globalement appréciable. L'alcool, à 8 % est efficace et donne notamment de la nervosité en seconde bouche et du caractère en arrière-bouche. Pas de grosse complexité, rien de sensationnel, mais ca fait le job.

Barwa miedziana, niemal klarowne, piana w kolorze złamanej bieli, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie słodowe, lekko fenolowe, owocowe. W smaku słodowe, lekko chyba utlenione, nieco winno-owocowe nuty, rodzynki. Goryczka niska do średniej, wysycenie średnie, ciało w normie. Brakuje tej belgijskiej głębi in bogactwa smaków.
